Facebook Review of Seven Years War 40mm French Cavalry
Hello Folks,
I have always been a little skeptical about 3D printed Miniatures, Chris Parker from Day of Battle offered some samples for me to review and gave them a try.
First impression, the shipping and packaging was great, I have to say I was impressed with the package of the figures.
In this case I am reviewing the Cuirassiers du Roi of the Seven Year’s War. I have received 3 troopers and 3 horses.
The amount of details on these chaps are amazing, loaded with character, body proportions are well balanced, the best part of it is the fact that they come with separate heads and right arms, which gives the option to place the heads and arms in different position for variety.
They figure’s paint very well, they are easy to prime, I did use Army painter grey primer.
It took me a couple weeks to finish only one complete figure because I had very little time to dedicate painting these little fellas.
All and all I am very happy with the result and definitely i will have them in my work bench soon.
