Hope you are all doing well. The usual mix of recaps and reviews continues with a notable addition: a visit to the InfoAge History and Science Museum in Wall, NJ.

I have felt for some time that my game files were getting shuffled about or even lost. So last week I took my domain name dayofbattlegames.com and dayofbattle.com and created a new website just for my games.
There you will find them all listed and broken out into all their different scenarios etc.
I have been very careful to mend all the links so if you see something you would like to buy (thank you) just click on that link and it brings you right back here to chrisparkergames.com. At the same times if you click a link for more information on one of my games it takes you right over to dayofbattlegames.com.
I hope those of you interested in my games (thank you) will find all the goodies I have there.
BTW I have uploaded to that site all of the lost KISS Rommel game files that I downloaded years ago when I was developing D-Day to Berlin. They are free to download. There is a download counter but is just to see how much interest the is.

My good friend the Gamepoet ran this battle at Huzzah. I had the honor of painting up some British Light Infantry and Militia.
He used my AWI rules Light Bobs. We were a bit rusty but made it work.
The special bit about the game was the bridge. The Gamepoet and his dad built that for a school project in 1974. Cool or what.
Here is a short POV video of the game.

Well last Saturday I had probably the most memorable DDtB games I have seen. it was attack on Nancy by Patton’s 3rd Army. We were two players shy due to no shows but the 4 players we had came to play. We actually completed 3 days and 2 nights. It was a close run game the the US took Nancy on day two and held it.
I had bought a body harness for my GoPro and was able to shoot a 2 hour video in POV.
I did find that when I leaned in to help with the rules the camera didn’t capture the part I was helping with.
Still I thought it was very good and promising.
One rule change we decided to try in a later game had to do with combat results.
The idea was if a force took any excess Morale Markers due to combat it had to make a Division Morale test. Can’t wait to try that.
Here is a link to the video. Comments are welcome 🙂
